Meet Leslie
Leslie started in the event industry as a DJ and MC, performing at weddings and corporate events across Arizona. During the shutdown of 2020, she began accumulating experience with day-of coordination at backyard weddings. She fell in love with wedding planning, and in 2021, she decided to launch Un Jour D’Amour Weddings and Events.
Through a twist of fate, her love of fantasy and event planning merged with the release of her first flagship fantasy event, the Phoenix Winter Fantasy Ball. She has since launched the Fantastique Collection, an entire line of fantasy and bookish themed events happening across the United States. She creates regular content on social media to promote her wedding planning business and her fantasy-themed events.
Leslie uses her fantasy events as a way to give back to communities, donating a portion or, in some cases, all proceeds to various charities that are close to her heart.
In her spare time, Leslie is an avid Dungeons and Dragons player, loves to read as many fantasy books as possible, and enjoys writing fantasy stories together with her fiancé Brandon. She also recently discovered a love for cosplaying, and incorporates cosplay friendly dress codes into all of her bookish events! When not busy working or nerding out with her loved ones, she can usually be found spending quality time with her two beautiful adopted dogs, Daisy and Kato. 🐾
“I want to bridge the gap between fantasy & reality, even if it is just for one night or one event. There is a longing that many of us experience while reading or playing games, and I feel that when we enter a fantasy event, some piece of that longing is satiated. In that moment, we can be anything. In that moment, reality doesn’t seem so heavy and so many magical things, including how we view ourselves, become possible.”

“My happiest memories are at these events!!! Whether you religiously read fantasy books or just love the aesthetic of fairytales, the venues, decor, and music will have you absolutely swooning. It’s impossible to not take a million photos despite there being incredible & expert photographers that send you the most beautiful pictures soon after the event! I ALWAYS make sure to vlog since there’s so much to do and look at, and the amount of detail is so incredible that I find myself noticing new things while looking back on the videos. Each event is decorated to its fullest potential, and it never fails to fill our vacations with amazing memories. I cant WAIT to attend another one!”
