Fantastique Starfall Ball™ 2025

Winnow away with us to the beautiful San Francisco City Hall building for a weekend of bookish celebration themed around some of our favorite fantasy books. Not only will there be an entire bookish festival to enjoy, but an enchanting ball with food, an open bar, stunning entertainment, picturesque moments to capture, and special effects/décor that will have you feeling as though you are a part of the magical world of high fae. A portion of proceeds will be donated to Project Night Night. This event is 18+.

We will be offering two VIP enhancement options that can be added onto your GA ticket. You must have a GA ticket to purchase a VIP experience. All VIP ticket holders will also receive an extra gift in their swag bags at check in.

Option 1: VIP High Tea Party (A white glove high tea experience with editorial portraits)
Option 2: VIP Literary Lounge Soirée (A luxury bar experience. Must be 21+ for this experience)

Weekend Itinerary

September 26th, 2025

2PM-6PM: Check in for the event begins. Guests will get their ID’s checked, get their wristband for the weekend, get their swag bag with bookish goodies, and be given a detailed itinerary with fun things to do around the area, including a self guided book store tour.
9PM-12AM: The VIP Literary Lounge Soirée will either happen on the 26th or 27th, location and final date/details TBD.


September 27th, 2025

8AM-12PM: Check in for the event continues then ends for the weekend. Attendees must be checked in by the close of check in on the 27th.
10AM-4PM: The Fantastique Starfall Festival will be in the North Light Court of the City Hall building. Our author & vendor marketplace will be open for attendees to roam and enjoy.
10AM-1PM: The VIP High Tea will be in the South Light Court of the City Hall building.


September 28th, 2025

5PM-11PM: The Fantastique Starfall Ball™ commences at the City Hall building. Guests will be able to dance the night away throughout the Rotunda, North Light Court, and South Light Court. Hors d’œuvres, dinner, open bar, desserts all provided along with many different types of entertainment. Photography, videography, and editorial portraits throughout the event and final products will be sent to guests after the event is over.

 FAQs

  • No! This will be an entire weekend event! Guests will also be provided with a list of fun things to experience in the area.

  • The dress code will be casual or cosplay for the Fantastique Starfall Festival and black tie affair with cosplay (floor length gowns and suite & tie) for the Fantastique Starfall Ball™ in the evening. Examples will be posted on our TikTok and Instagram. The dress code for the High Tea is elegant but casual (think upscale sundress). The dress code for the Literary Lounge Soiree will be cocktail attire.

  • GA tickets to this weekend event are $375 per person. They will be for sale on Eventbrite starting April 7th, 2024 at 5pm PST. A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to charity.

    VIP Tickets are $125 for each experience.

  • No. Hotel rooms are not included. The check in on the itinerary is referring to ticket check in, not hotel room check in.

  • We will not be selling individual tickets to either event. You must buy the full ticket to attend any part of the weekend.

  • This event is 18+ except for the VIP Literary Lounge Soiree. That is 21+.

  • Yes! For the Fantastique Starfall Ball, we will have hors d’œuvres, an open bar, and buffet dinner & desserts. Light refreshments will be provided for the Fantastique Starfall Festival. We will work to accommodate all dietary restrictions :)

  • Tickets for the event are non-refundable, however, tickets can be sold or transferred to another person but must be processed through Un Jour D’Amour to avoid scams. Those reselling their tickets will not be allowed to significantly mark up their ticket. Please join our Facebook groups to resell tickets.

  • We are not endorsed by, affiliated with, or licensed by any author or series and the event is designed to celebrate fantasy books and their general thematics.
